Do I need a ticket?<\/strong><\/summary>\n
Yes, this is a ticketed event. Tickets are \u00a312 for adults, \u00a39 for teens (16 and under). This event will sell out so tickets will not be available on the door.<\/h6>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
Do I need to book a time slot?<\/strong><\/summary>\n
Yes, you will be prompted to choose a half hour time slot when purchasing tickets. You can arrive at the check in gate any time within this half hour slot.<\/h6>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
Who can attend this Trail?<\/strong><\/summary>\n
The recommended minimum age is 13, but parental discretion is advised. Under 13\u2019s MUST be accompanied by an adult 18+ at all times. It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia. If you have mobility issues, please let us know when you arrive \u2013 the majority of the Trail follows the park path, however there are certain parts where a steward will guide you to an alternate accessible route.<\/h6>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
How long is the Trail?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 The Trail takes approximately 50 minutes to walk round, depending on how fast you run from our creatures!!<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Where can I park?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 There are two car parks at Golden Acre Park: Otley Road and Arthington Road. However, for the Frightmare Trail, you will need to use the Otley Road car park to get to the trail entrance. There are two bus stops on Otley Road close to the entrance to the park, with the X84 between Leeds and Ilkley stopping here regularly through the evening. Click Here<\/a> for the bus timetables.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

How many people can you in a group together?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 We have a maximum of 12 people per group. This is so that you can get the most out of the event.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

How should I dress?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 As if you\u2019re going for a walk outdoors in October in the UK! Wrap up warm, with sensible shoes as some parts of the trails may be muddy and uneven.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Can I bring my dog?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 No. We have loud, sudden sound effects, pyrotechnics and live actors jumping out. These are unsuitable conditions for dogs. Although you may trust that your dog may be okay, we do not know your dog, and we cannot compromise the safety of our team or other members of the public if your dog reacts badly.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

What will I experience?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 You\u2019ll be subject to disorientating sound, strobe lights, lasers, pyrotechnics and theatrical special effects. You will interact with characters and move through very dark areas of the park.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

What if I am genuinely too scared?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 Notify the nearest steward, anyone in a hi-vis jacket, and you\u2019ll be escorted back to the entrance.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Can I bring a torch with me?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 You can, however it may ruin the effect of some scenes that are designed to be dark and scary. Lighting will be in place where it is needed for safety.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Can I have\/drink\/bring alcohol?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 No. If you\u2019re intoxicated you will be turned away, for your own safety and the safety of our team. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>

Do I need a ticket?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 No, tickets are not needed for the Pumpkin Trail.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

How much does it cost?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 Entry is FREE! You can purchase a Trail Sheet for \u00a32 at the entrance \u2013 complete it to be entered into the prize draw. There may also be some paid activities and stalls, and there will be donation buckets throughout the trail, as this is a fundraising event for local charities & good causes.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

How long is the Trail?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 You can go round the Trail at your own pace, and get involved with as many activities as you like. You can stay for half an hour or four hours, it\u2019s up to you!<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Where can I park?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 There are two car parks at Golden Acre Park: Otley Road and Arthington Road. The Otley Road car park is larger and is approx. 6 mins walk to the Trail entrance. The Arthington Road car park has fewer spaces and is approx. 5 mins walk to the Trail entrance. Parking is often limited during the Pumpkin Trail so street parking on Otley Road is permitted, however please use public transport where possible. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

What public transport is available?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Can I bring my dog?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 YES! Well behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome on the Pumpkin Trail.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

What age is this suitable for?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

\u2013 The games and activities are aimed at children aged 10 and under, but the whole family is welcome!<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
