The Leeds Scare Trails is a fabulous Halloween charity fundraising event at Golden Acre Park over Halloween weekend, run entirely by volunteers, where 100% of the revenue is donated to local charities and good causes.

This year, we are fundraising for Martin’s House, The Elderwood Project and Addingham Scout Group.

Martin’s House
Every year, Martin House supports more than 550 children and young people with life-shortening conditions, alongside around 200 bereaved family members, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Their services are provided free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with the majority of funding coming from voluntary donations and fundraising.

The Elderwood Project rescue unwanted timber across West Yorkshire and give it a second life through reclaimed wood, handmade creations and community woodworking workshops.

Addingham Scout Group are the main organisers of the event each year, and most of the volunteers who are there on the day are scout leaders, scouts and their parents. The group helps to support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
